Walking Joaquin

He's walking! Joaquin took his first 4-5 steps all alone today and did it later on this evening! It's so exciting. Everyone's warning me how now it's all over and I'll be wishing he wasn't walking. But I'm so thankful that he's feeling good and making these little milestones. When you have a child that had a rough start, I think it makes the milestones even more special.

Hurray for "Milestones"! No matter how old our children get, we remember when they first started to walk. Your "first steps" are even more exciting for your whole family........it does make all the "other stuff" this week kinda get pushed back for a few days anyway!!

You go, girl--------you are getting tougher every day!! I believe God is ordaining and training you to be a "child advocate"-----there are people that actually get paid for that avocation/career. This is not exactly the kind of training that one would wish for......however, this training is the most sensitive and caring kind of training available------you will someday be able to help others understand and/or stand up for the rights of children with special needs in the area of nephrology. That is what you call the area of kidney specialization, isn't it?!! You are so knowledgeable-----you could step in for many of the "paid workers" right now!!!!

Congrats again on your milestone day!!
